Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner

On Friday, May 19, we had a rehearsal at the church followed by a huge cookout at the Boone Jaycee's Park. The cookout was by far one of the best things we did. Having an out-of-town wedding, everyone was tired from traveling and not interested in going out to a formal dinner. Not to mention that this would be the first time most of my and david's extended families would meet. So we wanted something with a relaxed atmosphere where everyone could kick back, mingle and have fun. We also invited all of our guests who were in town Friday night, so we had about 40 people there. The cookout was catered by Backyard Burgers (they are so awesome) and everyone had a great time. Following are photos from the rehearsal and the cookout.
